Just looking for stuff to throw into a support control hybrid caster. So what do you all think would be good, or would you like for such?

On my bard I get a ton of use out of fairy fire. Super good.

Slow is probably the best control/debuff available IMO

haste is a nice buff.

honestly though I wish there were some more options and better options in this area, I might create some of my own.

oh and grease is actually pretty good too, it’s not used very much and if used well may surprise some of your party members.

Spiked growth.

Bane, color spray, faerie fire, slow, counterspell.  Those are what immediately come to mind.

Hypnotic Pattern has totally shut down encounters quite a few times. I like to use it for clumps of enemies but that sometimes gets hard with a Fireball happy Wizard in the party, lol. 

Hybrid caster covers a lot of ground but... Bless, alacrity, haste, slow, guidance, in certain situations heroism, protection from evil, sanctuary, faerie fire for sure, shield of faith.

For control... charm, command are pretty classic, web, spike growth, depending on the situation darkness or daylight, Fear is always good if it works, vicious mockery is simple but effective, hideous laughter, sleep.

There's several higher level spells but that's a place to start.
