I'm thinking of there possibly being a way for you to use receipts or something similar to that to get your essential handbook on DND Beyond. Is there any possible way?
You don't walk out of a movie theater thinking you should get a copy of the DVD for free, right? Similar situation here. Yes it's the same content, but it's on different platforms. D&D Beyond and Wizards of the Coast are two separate companies. Search around on the forum, plenty of other people have answered this more eloquently than I have. It's a question that comes up daily. It's probably the most posted about topic on here, I'm convinced there's a dead horse necromancer running about.
If you want to take the time, you can homebrew everything from the books here. I did that early on with a few things that I wanted to play around with but couldn't justify spending on with my tight budget, but for the most part, I decided it was well worth the money to buy here so I didn't have to spend time and effort homebrewing.
Otherwise, as Depot said, this has been discussed to death and the answer is no.

So short answer no. Long answer: They're working on it. The new Theros source book actually will come with a 50% off the digital version if you buy it from your local stores. They only had 20 codes per store iirc but it's a start. Our local store said they'll be sending out the codes later this month so I should actually be able to pre-order it well before street date. I feel like if this goes well it might become a regular thing.

While it's true DnDB and WOTC partnered together to send codes for Mythic Odysseys of Theros (and the sealed Essential kit), there are no plans to offer codes for books bought previous to now. Just wanted to clarify that.

Yeah I didn't make that clear, I think this is a path for future books but it doesn't help with older materials.
