So I was wondering, as I am going to be DMing a campaign in which you have to make a lot of checks, what checks are opposite of each other. For example to decieve someone, you have to roll deception against perception. What are the opposites for the other checks?

It's whatever you want, although there are a couple standard rules you can follow (though you can always feel free to make exceptions).

Generally, deception is countered by insight, not perception. Stealth is countered by perception. Athletics is countered by athletics or acrobatics when grappling.

 Not a chart per se, but it’s all explained in chapter 7 of the PHB (or the Basic Rules, whichever you have handy).

No problem. To be honest, if you forget a rule and can’t find it in under a minute, don’t sweat it. Just make a decision, explaining what you’re doing and let them know you’ll look it up before next session. It will all come out in a wash.
