As to the relevance of my post, you want a bonus that only works some of the time. Temporary/triggered modifiers are not currently supported by DDB. You would have to use a magic item or something to fake it. (It would be easiest to use a +1 Shield.) That’s what the answer I referred to was all about.
I'm working on creating a feat that grants you an additional +1 AC when wielding a shield.
If this is even possible to achieve with the homebrew feature, I just can't seem to figure it out. Any ideas?
