Hello, so my problem is, that I don't know how to set up malus to ability score with the homebrewing in dndbeyond. I use quite a lot of homebrew thing in my campaign, from feat to spell and item, and I like to have my people choose to for example trade some constitution with a cursed blade, for additional damage.
But, I can't manage to give malus to score (like for example a -2 on the con score) with the homebrewing tool in the modifier section. Is there a way to do it ? if yes how ?

Modifier—>Bonus
Modifier Subtype—>Constitution Score
Fixed Value—> “-2”
(if that doesn’t work try Modifier—>Stacking Bonus and everything else the same)
I've got a similar question, but i don't want to decrease the value by a fixed amount. One of my players, asked me, if it is possible to replace his lvl7 Samurai class feature. Instead of increasing his Persuasion by his WIS modifier, he wants to increase his Intimidation by the same amount.
So my idea was, to create a magic item, that decrease the Persuasion by his WIS and increases his Intimidation by his WIS. The 2nd half is easy to set, but how can i decrease the value? It works with the fixed amount, but i'd like to do it "the proper way"^^
