So I have a homebrew I am working on that I would like to add actions, reactions and other types of things too. For example, I have an ability that I can use a number of times equal to my proficiency modifier per long rest, but I tried to create a special action so you could tick them off to keep track, like a spell slot essentially. I also hjave a bunch of things i want to add as actions and such but they will not show up in my actions page. Any help is appreciated!

If you want them to show up under “Actions,” then you need to designate an “Activation Type” to tell it what type of action it is (action, bonus action, reaction, etc).
To add limited use data, you need to first create the action and designate a “Reset Type” such as “Short Rest,” or “Long Rest.” After you have created the action with a reset type, you can then edit that newly created action and scroll to the bottom where you will be able to add “limited use data.”
Thank you for the response! I have a follow up inquiry. Is there a way to have that show up under features and traits is a similar fashion to a tick box or counter like Lay on Hands, Ki points or Sorcery Points? Once I put in the recommended actions you suggested, I still am not getting any sort of tracker for this.

Ok, Thank you, BUT as I stated, once I initiated the directions you recommended, I STILL AM NOT getting a tracker. Only the information on the features and traits page. There is no tracker system or box to check after doing what you said.
After you add/alter/delete anything as part of any homebrew you MUST re-save the entire homebrew using the main [SAVE CHANGES] button under Basic Information or the system won’t pick up your changes. After that, wait at least 20 minutes, then refresh the page the character sheet is open on and then raise the character’s level by one and lowering it again.
