I would like to have the ability to change my spell casting ability so instead of a Charisma warlock i have a intelligence or a druid that in talks to nature in of force in the will i.e. a Charisma druid and a wisdom base paladin would be cool
You can do that under Basic Information for any subclass.
If you don’t actually want to create any new homebrewed subclasses and prefer to use the official ones you can, you just have to pretend to homebrew a new subclass is all. Use whichever official subclass you choose a Template for a new subclass, which would port over absolutely everything except the main subclass’ description. You can just copy that from the original and paste it in and then you essentially have an exact duplicate of the original subclass, other than whatever changes you choose to make, such as the Spellcasting ability.
