I have this concept on a way to make custom classes, even i fhtat is not currently an option. I thought of this because based on what i found, the devs arents planning on homebrew classes anytime soon, despite there being multiple threads 4 years back and thm saying it is on the long term on the roadmap. The concept is to make a subclass based on a class that is similar enough to your class concept, and then create subclass features that replace the existing ones. You could then add extra subclass features based on what you would want youre subclass for that class to be. For example, i dont own the artificer on D&D beyond, so I make a subclass based on the wizard, and then replace and add features to make the equivilent of a artillerist. Would this concept work?
I have no idea. I don’t work here, I just live here. All I know is it isn’t possible to affect base class level anything as it’s all locked behind Admin privileges.

There is no way for subclass feature to replace base class features. If custom base classes become available on DDB I’ll eat my hat.

That's a bummer, well then, i guess you just ignore it and just custom make the health and actions an dstuff I guess? I'm not sure
I have no idea what your plan is, so I really cannot say. I have just personally given up on nonstandard base classes on DDB.

But wouldnt this also be a cheap quick soloution to make classes possible? It would be easier than whatever other option
