I've had at least one feat and one subclass, vanish. They were not published, and they were in use by character, but not in a current campaign. From what I can tell they weren't using the names of any official content. The feat in particular was a bit complex and would be a headache to replicate. I had not been on for a while, but the vast majority of my homebrew seems to still be there.
You know in your creations, where you can toggle on/off the “Published” and “Private” tags? There’s a third tag there you can toggle called “Deleted.” You can find your homebrews there.
I did NOT know that. I don't know how they got deleted but they were both there (along with a couple dozen COPY_OF_...'s [^_^]" ). You've been a right godsend this week. Thanks for helping me again.
There's another way to potentially have things disappear that I've recently discovered. Thankfully this doesn't seem to be your problem in this case, but it may be worth mentioning just in case others find this thread looking for a similar issue.
To use a recent example, a while ago I created an elemental swap of Armor of Agathys called Armor of Kossuth. Recently I decided wanted to also create acid and poison variants to represent some of the other layers of Carceri* and give a wider range of elemental types. So what I did was I went to create new spell, and I searched for Armor of Kossuth in order to copy it, I then made my changes, renamed it Armor of Prophatys, and after testing I published it.
Problem is, somehow it inherited my published Armor of Kossuth as a previous version, rather than becoming an all-new spell, which caused Armor of Kossuth to disappear from my Homebrew Creations. If you look at the Armor of Prophatys page you'll see it has the version history of Armor of Kossuth, which is not what I wanted. To bring Armor of Kossuth back I had to re-create it from scratch, which was annoying, and I had to do the same to add Armor of Cathrys in order to avoid the same problem happening again.
I'm guessing this is an issue specifically with copying spells (maybe any homebrew) that you've already published; it must treat it as a new version rather than a true copy. At least that's what I'm hoping as I've copied a bunch of unreleased homebrew I might release someday!
*Quick lore note but Kossuth is not a layer of Carceri as there isn't one specifically dedicated to fire (a lot of the upper layers have no shortage of fire in them though) so I opted for the name of a primordial instead.
Former D&D Beyond Customer of six years: With the axing of piecemeal purchasing, lack of meaningful development, and toxic moderation the site isn't worth paying for anymore. I remain a free user only until my groups are done migrating from DDB, and if necessary D&D, after which I'm done. There are better systems owned by better companies out there.
I have unsubscribed from all topics and will not reply to messages. My homebrew is now 100% unsupported.
They were probably removed from public content by the Mods in that case.
I seem to have had this issue as a GM created their own version of a race from somewhere else. It is a bit of a bummer as I was going to do a test of the race but decided to just play more official races.
I can understand and support removal of content that is an issue for any reasons and I am glad there are people who look at that type of stuff on D&DB.

My Brews:
Race: Tropical Dwaves Spells: Summon Spirits Rites of Mummification
Monster: Osprey Feat: Skill Mastery–Animal Handler (Provides DCs for training animals applicable to those with and without this feat)
Lol, I came to this forum to discuss a similar thing. I just saw some non-WOTC Critical Role homebrew just up and disappear a few hours ago.
Insert interesting signature here.

Darkmoon250, Was it yours or maybe something you had added to your homebrew collection?
