I am working on a homebrew background, but I want to use another content creators' homebrew as the base. Is there any way to get in touch with a content creator to ask permission to use their creation?

Specifically, the Travelling Merchant background by Travis_Legge.

You can PM the creator, but there is no possible way for you to use another person’s homebrew as a template. You will have to recreate it from scratch.

I have not used DnDBeyond to contact anyone before, how do I go about pming them?

And yes, I'd be rewriting it for a whole new background, I just want to confirm permission to use the basic ideas and some of the prewritten descriptions they have :)
