Hello all, I'm trying to make a magic shield that scales with level. Instead of a flat +1 or +2 shield, I want to make a shield that adds half (rounded down) of the user's proficiency bonus. Is this possible on D&D Beyond?
No, it is not currently possible. Magic items are not currently designed to pull into like that from character sheets.
