I have done a search, but I'm not able to find any references to it. I'm currently trying to build out a monk homebrew subclass, and having a few issues.
One of the main ones, is that I would like to require some of the abilities to use ki points to activate, but I can't seem to find a spot that it will force the use of ki, or even give the option to use ki as an activation. I find spell slots, etc, but when trying to use those, it doesn't put it on the sheet under ki abilities, or give it the box like the default uses for ki does.
The homebrewer doesn’t allow us access to base class features such as Ki at the present time. You’re just gonna have to list it in the text of the action in question, and the feature that grants the action.
Has this issue been fixed yet? Would love to be able to homebrew completely on the site that markets itself out to be the perfect and official place to do so.
Not yet, I hope this is something that they actually do soon, homebrew is one of the main parts of DND and so having a bad homebrew system for the official site is a disgrace
Is there a way to at least give extra (bonus) ki points?

By using the second method you can set the number of Ki to whatever you want, and even edit the Ki save DC too. It’s just a bit of a pain in the 455 is all. It’s not a terrible pain in the 455, just a bit of one, but it’s still not the most fun ever or anything either.

Any assistance here?
Make a copy of a monk subclass that uses ki for abilities. Then you can see how they do it

Yes and no. It is not currently possible to affect the base class feature in any way. What you can do is:
