So I'm trying to make a subclass for a Druid, and it's finally finished. But when I try to publish it so my friend can use it in their campaign, it says "This homebrew Subclass does not have the necessary class features with the correct required levels." I've tried multiple times to fix it, by reimputing the levels, by remaking the class features, and a couple more things. Does anyone have any advice? I would rather not start all the way over.
I apologize if this wasn't the correct forum to post this question
Public Mod Note
(Halfwing):
Moved from Bugs & Support
If you have not thoroughly playtested and edited your homebrew (and I mean thoroughly) it is probably not quite yet ready for publication. Do yourself a favor, consider the current version a first draft and go playtest and edit it for a couple of months prior to publishing. (You’ll thank me later.)
Druid subclasses require a 3rd level dummy feature for no obvious reason in order to publish them.
I think you just answered my question regarding the 3rd level dummy feature. It hadn't said it needed so I never made one. I think that will help. And for sure, I definitley am trying to play test them. I realized after I published my first subclass that I can't edit it after. I know, idiot move, but I really thought I could. Even now I'm still finding grammar, spelling, and technical errors on the ones I thought were good two months ago haha.
Again, I appreciate it! I think you solved my problem.

I still find errors in stuff I thought was gtg a year ago. A missing word here, an extra word there… a poorly worded or coded snippet here, an Action I could have programmed better there…. I can write a subclass in a day, but playtesting and editing takes a lot longer. I spent over 150 hours on my last published homebrew and just realized that a typo I had corrected somehow snuck back in and it’s all I can see now every time I read the damned thing. ☹️ One little extra “or” in the middle of a sentence for no reason. Just one. That’s the only problem with it, but gods help me I can’t fix it now without republishing the whole damned thing for the second time. 🙄
Playtest and edit your ‘brews folks, playtest and edit.
I'm not sure if there is, but it would be cool if there was like a "feedback" option for Homebrew content. I have a few things published on the homebrew site, and I've had my players and other DM's play test them, but it's all people that are accustomed to my DM style/play style or have very similar styles themselves. It would be cool to get feedback from other creators/DM's/players for some of the stuff that has been published or used by others.
Plus it would be cool to hear the experiences from people that have used my homebrew :) I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels this way.
