So I've done tweaks to all the subclasses for both Sorcerer and Warlock to just give them extra spells for their subclass (just always preparing the ones the Warlock subclasses allow you to choose from) but I've noticed two things:
1) with the Sorcerer, the spells won't show "always prepared" and weirdly are listed twice in the Manage Spell tab.
and 2) For warlock its also not showing the "always prepared" in the Manage Spells tab and specifically with the recent warlock subclasses I did (done this before and it still works perfectly on the characters using these), it will only show the last spells on the list not all of them. EI: I did a level 17 Dao Genie Warlock and in my spells tab it only shows Creation and Wall of Stone (both granted at level 9), but is not showing Sanctuary (granted at level 1), Spike Growth (granted at level 3), Meld into Stone (granted at level 5) or Stone Shape (granted at Level 7), nor Wish (granted at level 17)? I assume this has to do something with the whole Pact Spells Slots for at least the Wish spell but not sure why for the others.
Oh ok so there's no way to know by looking at the Manage Spells tab and see what spells are granted for non-preparing classes? Boo but make sense.
Still not sure why the granted spells for the sorcerer spells that I grant are showing up double for in the Manage Spells tab though?
And as for adding the spells that is exactly what I did, as I've done it before many times and its worked totally perfectly. Just with the the ones I've done today for the Warlock subclasses its only showing the highest level spells you can cast aka 5th level spells in the example I used because of the Pact Spell Slots being 5th. But it works for previous ones I've done (showing all spells given upcasted to 5th level) so I don't quite know why/what has changed.

Did you fill out the “Cast at Level” field and require it to consume a spell slot?
Please post links to your homebrews so a Mod or Staffer (not me) can look into them for you. They can even look into unpublished homebrews so DON’T PUBLISH.
oh I don't think I did the Cast at Level. But because warlocks spell slot level increases doesn't that make it a fix level you cast it at? Or can you put in multiple?

Neither Warlocks nor Sorcerers “prepare” their spells. To add “always known” spells to those subclasses, please follow the instructions listed under the Subclasses & Races FAQ #14: (https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/dungeons-dragons-discussion/homebrew-house-rules/131411-a-homebrewers-how-to-faq).

I was just wondering if there maybe was a weird interaction if you had done both.

how would I get contact with a Mod or Staffer to look into it?
I “reported” your post to draw a Moderator’s attention to your need for assistance. They’ll be along eventually.
