BREAK THE BOND
4th-level abjuration
Casting Time:1 action
Range: 60 feet
Components: S, M (a small bone tube)
Duration: Instantaneous
As part of the action used to cast this spell, you must break a specially prepared bone tube worth 500gp. You focus the energies of this spell on a target that has attuned to a magic item and break the bond between them. Target must make an Intelligence save and loses attunement to an item on a failure. If the target has attuned to more than one item, the item which is no longer attuned is determined randomly. Though the Eldritch Knight Weapon Bond is not an attunement, this spell can break the bond formed between knight and weapon.
You focus on a creature you can see within range. That creature must make an Intelligence saving throw if it is attuned to any magic items, or is bonded to one or more weapons. On a failed save, one of that creature's randomly determined magic item attunements or weapon bonds immediately ends.
* - (a specially prepared bone tube worth at least 500gp, which the spell consumes)
That slightly altered wording is clearer and more concise, while simultaneously more inclusive. This way it will also affect Pact of the Blade Warlocks who Bond a magic weapon as their Pact aweapon. (But not a weapon created by that Pact Boon, and not a Hex Weapon unless it is also the BladePact bonded weapon.) It would also theoretically apply to any other weapons a creature could “bond” with. (I checked, the Forge Clerics’ Blessings of the Forge feature, Monks’ (optional) Dedicated Weapon feature, and none of the current Artificer features “bond” a weapon to the character. As they are not “bonded,” they would not be affected.)
Although, frankly, this should likely be a Transmutation spell rather than Abjuration since it “changes” something instead of explicitly “protecting” anything. And it feels more like a WIS save or maybe even a CHA save would fit more approximately than Int.

At the very least the language needs a polish:

That's some good criticism there, thank you. Didn't even think about Warlocks and Forge Clerics. Anybody else have thoughts?
