Hi all, I'm okay with homebrew on here but been working on something more challenging. I'm trying to make a sort of "Blood Monk" style subclass and one of the features I thought would be cool would be the ability to select a number of Eldritch Invocations (Not as many as Warlock but a few) with the amount increasing per number of monk levels.
Has anyone any idea how I could do this either by subclass feature or if needed gerryrigging it via feats.
Every monk sub-class provides sub-class features at 3rd, 6th, 11th, and 17th level. Maybe grant one new eldritch invocation at every one of those points, on top of whatever else the sub-class can do? So you would have 1 invocation at 3rd-level, 2 invocations at 6th, 3 at 11th, and 4 at 17th. Considering that a warlock has eight at its highest point, I think this should be pretty balanced as long as you keep the other sub-class abilities a bit toned down.

You would need to set the Invocations up as Options, and enter each one into the system manually as it’s own Option. If you need it I have a full walkthrough on how to properly set up Options in the Subclasses & Races FAQ #1: (https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/dungeons-dragons-discussion/homebrew-house-rules/131411-a-homebrewers-how-to-faq).
