Hi everyone! I'm trying to homebrew a sorcerous origin for a player of mine and whenever I use it on a character, it gives me access to the spell list I granted just fine, but when he does it, he isn't getting access to those spells. I'm not sure how to fix it.

Help would be appreciated! More info can be provided if necessary.

Two questions:

1. How did you attach those spells to that subclass?
2. Does your player have access to those spells?

I added a feature titled Spellcasting and added each spell in individually to the "Spells" section, including in that little area the level the spells are earned. All of them are showing up as-intended except for Armor of Agathys (level 1) and Otiluke's Freezing Sphere (level 11). I'm a full subscriber and have content sharing activated, so he should have access to those two spells.

Part of the problem may be the name of the feature since the “Spellcasting” feature name carries some mechanics with it (see the Homebrewed Subclasses & Races FAQ #7: https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/dungeons-dragons-discussion/homebrew-house-rules/131411-a-homebrewers-how-to-faq). So you might try calling it something like “[Subclass Name] Spells.”

However, I suspect that the issue is being caused by one of two other things:

1. The player’s character is not actually in the campaign with the content sharing (see the Content Access FAQ Sections A & B: https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/d-d-beyond-general/bugs-support/142100-how-to-access-content-on-d-d-beyond-faq).
