Hello. I've spent a few hours trying to figure out a way to make a variant of the Light Domain cleric for a campaign I am part of. I want to swap the default Always Prepared spells—Burning Hands, Scorching Ray, Flaming Sphere, Wall Of Fire, Flame Strike, and Fireball—for my homebrew variants.
I've already created the homebrew versions and they appear just fine in the spells list, but I cannot for the life of me get them to set as Always Prepared under the homebrew subclass. Is there a way to do so?
Public Mod Note
(GPyromania):
Moved from Bugs & Support to Homebrew & House Rules.
Just add them to the "Additional Specific Spells" bit of the "Basic Information" section of the homebrew subclass. Then re-save the entire subclass so it updates. You might have to wait 20 minutes for it to update. Caching issues or something like that can happen.
If I have the homebrew spells listed under "Additional Specific Spells" and it's still not showing up, is it because I need to set it up elsewhere? Asking because it's been more than an hour since I saved and did so. I don't know if I should just allow a full day to pass by and check again.

On the “home” tab of the character creator, the toggle next to “homebrew content” needs to be on (red) to the right.
Also, sometimes things don’t update properly if the character already has the subclass. Try it on a new character and see if it’s working.
Update: I made the subclass once again AND a new character sheet and I still cannot get the homebrew spells to appear as Always Prepared. They're listed under "Additional Specific Spells" and homebrew content is on. I can see them as spells I can learn, but trying to set them up as Always Prepared is just not working. Is there anything I can do from my angle to fix this? I feel like it should be working with these suggestions given, but something is amiss.
Yes. It seemed making a new subclass with the modifications was the only way to get it to work properly. It just took a few hours to actually update/register.

That is where I had them listed under, but I didn't wait to see if maybe I had to wait for it to register them. Let's see if that will work.

I have it turned on already, but thank you for the suggestion. :)
I'll try making the subclass and character sheet once again to see if that'll fix it, because it still is not working after 24 hours, lol.

Post a link to your character and a link to your homebrew so a Moderator can look at it for you.

Was this ever resolved? and if so, how?
