I'm trying to make a sword meant for a wizard that would add the wizard's Intelligence modifier to the attack role. I know magic increases both the attack roll and the damage by a number, but I just want the attack ... and just with this weapon.
What you want is unfortunately not currently possible. You will have to simply put that info as plain text and the player will have to adjust the Attack roll directly on their character sheet.
Wow, no wonder everyone is canceling their subscription ... DNDbeyond sucks ... you would think with all the hundreds of options simple stuff like this would be easy to do.

Any advice?

hmm what about making it use the intelligence stat instead of strength or dex? like the way a hexblade warlock works?
