Hello, I have been playing with a homebrew race on DnD beyond, and it wants an avatar. Do we have to use a new picture that isn’t copyrighted or at least one we purchased from an artist? If we make it public, and it passes review will https://omegle****/ DnD beyond replace the picture with one of their own? How do I search for other public home brews so that I can be sure someone else hasn’t already made essentially the same race?
You can use any art you like, or none at all. While it’s private homebrew you can do anything you want with it, and if/when you publish it, any attached art will be hidden from everyone except you and people in campaigns with you.

Here’s where you can search public homebrewed races: (https://www.dndbeyond.com/homebrew/races).
