Hey guys. Trying to figure if this is possible or not; I'm trying to add some cantrip slots to a Ranger Subclass. Is there a way to add slots to a subclass/class that doesn't usually have access to cantrips? I'm basically trying to test the UA Ranger in an upcoming campaign and figured it would be nice to get my DnDB character sheet working.
I can always just add them as "always prepared" and just change them as needed, just curious if there's a way to add the slots instead.

There is no way to add cantrip slots to a Ranger, no. And you don’t need to check the “always prepared” box, in fact don’t check it because cantrips are never “prepared,” they’re just “known,” and making them “prepared” might cause hiccups in the system.
