Applying new walking speeds to subraces

Hey, so I've been trying to write a subrace that has a lower walking speed than the base race, how would I be able to change its movement speed?

Add a negative bonus to the subraces walking speed.

Modifier: Bonus->Subtype: Speed (Walking)->Fixed Value: -X
