I created a couple homebrew spells for Oathbreakers, but for some reason, they stay on the spell list, even when the "Homebrew Content" option is turned off. Any way to fix this?
Remove âOathbreakerâ from the list of classes attached to that spell. Just put Paladin instead, and then they wonât be automatically prepared for that subclass anymore.

That isn't the problem, though. The problem is that they are still on the character sheet even if the "Homebrew Content" option in character creation is turned off.

I understand that. Itâs a very longstanding bug that they either canât or wonât fix that backdores any and all âalways preparedâ spells in, homebrew or otherwise. By listing that subclass for those spells you have marked them as âalways preparedâ for that subclass, so the system automatically populates them on the character sheet for that subclass for not just you, but for everyone in every DDB campaign you are in. The only solutions are:
Remove those spells from your homebrew collection and then you cannot use them at all.
Remove that subclass from the spells so they donât automatically populate every Oathbreaker in every campaign you are in, even when homebrew content is turned off.
