I'm making a sorcerer subclass that has additional spells and for some reason, they aren't showing up in character builder/sheets. I've made previous subclasses and have gotten it to work for my cleric subclass but for some reason, it's not working for my sorcerer subclass. I've looked at both subclasses and can't figure out the difference between them that makes my cleric automatically add the additional spells but my sorcerer won't. I've tried looking through the threads for others having this issue who fixed it but with no luck
They don’t work the same is why. For casters that know all their spells and just prepare the ones they want every day, any spells you list under “Additional Specific Spells” will be automatically prepared. Since Sorcerers don’t “prepare” their spells, that field just adds them to the list of spells they can learn. To add automatically “known” spells, you have to add them separately. Please follow the steps outlined in the Subclasses & Species FAQ #14: (https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/dungeons-dragons-discussion/homebrew-house-rules/131411-a-homebrewers-how-to-faq). You’ll have to add each spell individually that way. If you have any more questions please don’t hesitate to ask.
