Thanks for looking at my post! I have a player who is looking to play as an Intelligence Cleric (due to following a god of knowledge). Is there a way for me to homebrew this on Dndbeyond? It seems like you can only homebrew subclasses, not classes themselves. I tried to play around with a magic item that could accomplish this, but it was beyond my ability.
I don't believe this is currently possible with the homebrew tool. In fact, even if you manually were able to change all the things that point at one stat and point them to a different stat, you'll have to manually update all those things whenever a stat changes and you might have to completely homebrew any subclass used with it.
Even after all the duct tape and chicken wire, I doubt it'll be seamless during play.
I was able to create a subclass for Sorcerer that uses CON and was able to add the CON as a condition or something when building it. But then have still had to customize most elements on the character sheet, THEN I wanted to try to multiclass with another class, and that's where I hit a solid wall. It won't let you select a second class because the first class doesn't hit the min requirement. So if you aren't multicasting, it can be done, but it's a pain. You can not multiclass though.
