The hombrew I found has another subclass feat that I'm working to incorporate into D&DBeyond called Combat Shapeshifter.
It reads: At 3rd level, you gain the ability to use Wild Shape on your turn as a bonus action, rather than as an action. Aditionally, while in your Monstrous Shape, you can use a bonus action to expend one spell slot to regain 1d6 hit points per level of the spell slot expended.
The aspect that’s giving me trouble is the expending of a spell slot to heal. I can create charges for spell count, but automating d6 healing per spell slot level is a problem. I can’t seem to determine the slot's level with the charges, nor do I think I can choose which slot to remove.
If there is anyway I could pull this off, I'd gladly like to learn how. Otherwise, I can just keep track outside of DnDBeyond.
You can’t automate that: the player will have to just manually check off spell slot, manually roll the correct number of dice, and manually add the HP to their character.
New thread, same feat, different question.
