I want to play a Divine Soul Sorcerer, but I refuse to buy it on marketplace for $25. I've recreated the whole subclass in homebrew, but it will not show up as an option for the sorcerous origin dropdown, no matter what I do.
IMPORTANT: I have read the FAQ, have homebrew enabled in character creation, have the subclass saved to my collection, and have mechanically added everything I need to to the subclass to make it function just like Divine Soul. However, it has been over 12+ hours and I still do not see it in the sorcerous origin dropdown. The homebrew Warlock subclass I made forever ago works fine, but this one just won't show up. Is it because it is just a copy of Divine Soul??
TO BE CLEAR: I am not trying to share it with the community. I simply want to add it to a character I am going to use in a private campaign with friends. Please help.
Did you use the original Divine Soul, or any other subclass for the 2014 Sorcerer as the template? If so, that’s the problem. You will either need to recreate the entire thing piecemeal from scratch, or use a 2024 subclass as the template. If you don’t have the ‘24 PHB, then you cannot use any subclass as the template as you have no paid access to any subclasses for the ‘24 Sorcerer subclasses.
