Hello, I'm trying to make an HB subclass I found into a functioning subclass on Beyond. Is there a way to apply the level scaling to an action granted by a subclass feature? I'm sure one exists but I can't think of an official subclass that does so to look at for an example. Any help or a point in the right direction would be appreciated.
No, the “Level Scaling” won’t interact with an Action, however you can make an Action that scales with level. After you create an Action, simply “Edit” that new Action and scroll all the way to the bottom and you will see a new field labeled “Level Overrides.” If you instead want to have a number of limited uses that scale with level then as part of the Action you must first designate a “Reset Type.” Then, when you edit the action, just above Level Overrides you will see a new field labeled “Limited Use.”
Thank you. I've done this before but between the headache I have an how long it had been I couldn't remember. Thank you very much, I hope you have a great day.
Is there a way to create an action that changes its description at a higher level?
I have a subclass that displays an action saying:
"Whenever you use Step of the Wind, you can use Flurry of Blows before the end of the turn."
But at 11th level, I want it to be replaced with:
"Whenever you use Step of the Wind, you can now choose between using Flurry of Blows, Patient Defense, or making one Unarmed Strike before the end of the turn."
Anyone else wanna go on a scavenger hunt in Sposta's bio?
