I need the collective minds of DnD Beyond to come together to speculate on this monster creature known as the Gorgon.
So a clear first assumption would be that the Gorgons are made out of magical metal.
Now my speculation lies in the horns of the creatures. Would the horns be made purely out of metal?
Would the horns be hollow? If not, how plausible would it be to make them hollow and have someone be able to bellow through one of them like a real life cattle, sheep, goat, or antelope horn?
What magical properties would this Gorgorn Horn of Bellowing wield, if any?
Some background: I want a bed of Tlincalli scorpion folk to already posses the item. They have NO idea what it is, but their Tribe Leader uses it as a signal horn and to stop his warriors from killing each other in combat practice. Could be a neat reward for the party. Maybe something that requires attunement.
Edit: I saw the weapon. I’m thinking more of a wonderous item, with musical/sonic properties.
The horns' makeup is never detailed so it can be hollow if you want.
A gorgon emits a petrifying breath. When blowing through the horn you might emit a similar effect. It might summon a gorgon or make end the petrified condition on creatures within a specific range. Perhaps look at other horns for inspiration.
As a community, we're typically more helpful when you bring a finished or semi-finished product. I'm also not sure what weapon you're referring to.

Thoughts? Or scrap?
