How-to (is it even possible) to adjust Cantrip total / prepared spell total?

Is it possible to change simply the total possible Cantrips a class has access to (via feat or subclass) in addition, can this be done with Prepared Spells?
For example. At level 4 a Wizard has 4 Cantrips and 7 Prepared Spells. Can this total be increased or reduced in any way? not by providing a specific cantrip / spell (that doesn't count against prepared spells) but an actual flat "You can prepare X more spells" type of situation?

I tried looking through the FAQ but I didn't see it. Sorry if its been asked and answered before. I saw that Spell Slots can't be adjusted but nothing about total prepared count.

Are you able to set an override? like "Total X Cantrips can be known?"
I don't see any function in the Arcane Trickster, so I have no clue how they force cantrip counts
