When you reach 3rd level in this class, you learn the darkness spell, which doesn’t count against your number of sorcerer spells known. In addition, you can cast it by spending 2 sorcery points or by expending a spell slot. If you cast it with sorcery points, you can see through the darkness created by the spell.
this is the part of the feature I'm having trouble with because there is so many different parts of the spell. The ability to cast it with sorcery points and spell slots and seeing through it when casted with sorcery points are very annoying to figure out. I could use some help.
That’s all just plain text. There is no mechanical way to spend Sorcery Points to cast anything on DDB. You would just deduct the sorcery Points and not hit “Cast” and pretend you did.

Thanks, what about Umbral Form? It seems more complicated
Edit: I figured it out. I just made a homebrew spell for it
Umbral form is also just plain text. Temporary features like umbral form are not currently supported on DDB.
