Hello! I apologize if this is covered elsewhere, but I am making a Warlock Subclass that grants proficiency in insight at the cost of taking the characters sight (though they get blindsight (60ft)). I tried to add Bonus Insight in the class feature but it doesn't change anything in the mock character sheet I made.

Proficiency from two sources do not stack. With Backgrounds if you have proficiency from another source you get to choose something else for the background but that is only for backgrounds.

Thank you! I am still new to D&D and so am still learning the rules. Didn't help that they first character I made was for a mini campaign where everyone started at level 10. It was good for learning how to play a session but not so good for learning how to build a character and to see how the finer details play out in character creation.

Related question: If I grant the proficiency through the boon, and I select it through the race option as well, do the two stack or no?
