I have been designingThe Ensconcerfor roughly half a year. At last on this day, the sixth of November, I have finally finished the first complete draft. This is a D&D 5e homebrew class, inspired by the idea of Ritual magic. The class is fairly unique, but could be compared more closely to Warlocks than any other class (in my opinion). This class is designed for a homebrew campaign, and is by no means a final product yet.
If the good community of D&D BEYONDwould like to review, critique, and comment on the class, I'd be very appreciative of the feedback. What is available to view right now has had a lot of design time put into it, but little play testing time. Without any doubt, it will benefit form the eyes and tongues of other experienced players and homebrewers.
Anything you feel is noteworthy. I'm mostly hoping to find suggestions on how to improve it if it appears unbalanced, over or under powered.
Does the class feel too niche mechanically speaking, or not niche enough? Is it viable in a variety of games types, too difficult to understand, are there mistakes/inconsistencies that need to be addressed?
