I am unable to change the dice type of my magic item with the Magic Item Attack with Strength modifier for a magical weapon. It has a category to replace the damage dice and I have a d12 selected yet it doesn't change the item. The longbow is using strength now for the attack and damage modifiers for the weapon however it remains as a d8.

The longbow is using strength now for the attack and damage modifiers for the weapon however it remains as a d8.
It is not currently possible to change either a weapon’s base damage die/dice, or range.
