I'm trying to figure out how I might work in homebrew sources into building my Character, but I'm not sure how I can work it in. Is there a way to work in Homebrew into the site or do I have to do it amnually?
Actually, if you go into the character sheet and click on the character's name, second from the bottom will be a tab called "Preferences". Click it, look to the right, and click the "Homebrew Content" slider. Then you can add the item (I'm assuming its an item) as usual. *If it is not an item, click the anvil in the top right to go to the character builder.

That only works if it is an existing homebre on DDB, and the user has that homebrew in their collection. If you are attempting to use homebrews found on another site such as the D&D Wiki, or something published through The DM’s Guild for example, you will have to recreate it manually.
If it is a homebrew published on DDB by another user, the only way you can “Add to Your Collection” is if you have a paid subscription on DDB, otherwise you will have to manually recreate them.

You have to make it again.

Homebrew is fun.
