Everything is as Wall of Fire, with the following changes:
As a Bonus Action you can move the Wall of Fire upto 30 each round either forward or backwards (forward is the direction that does damage, backwards is the direction that does no damage.
Also the base damage gets improved by 1d8 as if it was upcast to that new level.
So what level should this nasty little surprise be? Any other modifications I should make to make it a solid spell at the new level?
I was thinking Level 6, as it is a clear improvement.

Level 7 without the increased damage. That’s like, a bazilion times better than Flaming Sphere.
