Hello, I've been modifying a homebrew weapon and then having trouble seeing it update on my character sheet. I have tried reloading the character sheet page, and also re-adding the item to my character. I just did those two things after a change and I'm not seeing it update, so I'm wondering what the best technique is.

I've been modifying it a lot trying out different options to see what they do so I hope there is a sure-fire method.

After you modify any Homebrew, you have to re-save the whole thing to trigger the system to pick up the changes. Then it can take up to 15 minutes sometimes (usually less) for the changes to hit the character sheet.

Ok thanks. This is understandable but quite unfortunate. I find the home-brew interface really confusing so testing out what stuff does is the best way to learn and having the changes not be instant means I'm constantly scratching my head wondering if I changed the wrong thing, or if it just hasn't shown up yet.
