I'm creating a sorcerer subclass that's basically the opposite of the Divine Soul. As a part of this, I want to give the subclass access to the Warlock spell list in addition to the sorcerer spell list. However, I have not been able to make this happen, no matter what I try. I have followed the subclass creation guide, but still nothing. I even went back and looked at the Divine Soul subclass, but, to my dismay, it didn't even use the "additional spell list" box! What do I do?
I was actually playing with this idea, but reversed: giving the Warlock access to the sorcerer's spell list with a genie patron. As both classes have limited spell lists that they can't change on a whim, this theoretically shouldn't hurt either too much.
I'd say the hardest thing about making subclasses is making them unique and balancing them to the other options. Sometimes, something that's meant to be a ribbon turns out much stronger than anticipated, and what should be a primary feature is too strong or actually much weaker.
For working the DDB's tools, I'm afraid I can't help you there.

I believe that comes from having a class feature named “divine magic” as sometimes that’s how things were coded. Try giving it a subclass feature called “divine magic” and see if that adds the cleric spells to the spell list. If it does, then there is no way to change it to grant Warlock spells the same way.
That wasn't it, but I was able to get the spells to appear for a bit. After that, I shared it with the community, but when I went in to use it, I can't seem to get the spells to show up. Do you think you could take a look? https://www.dndbeyond.com/subclasses/492549-damned-soul
Apologies, what I asked wasn't clear; could you add the subclass to your collection and attempt to make a character with it, and then tell me whether any warlock spells are in the spells list? Furthermore, once it's in your collection, you should be able to go to "create homebrew subclass" and then select it as a template.

I don’t think we can template other peoples homebrew. But I can add it and see what it’s doing for you.
Here is a character I made with your subclass. It has Dancing Lights from being Drow, but the two other Cantrips I chose as well as both 1st-level spells specifically appear on the Warlock list but not the Sorcerer spell list so it appears to be working.
I haven’t read the whole thing yet, but the level 1 features as well as the horseman choice all look pretty good. I don’t love the horseman theme, but Sign of Weakness is nice. After I read the rest, if it seems balanced and as well programmed as 1st level I might just keep it in my collection.
Alright, I'm glad it's working! It had me scared for a bit there! Also, I'm glad you like it! Every View and Add helps out. I agree that the horseman theme isn't the best, but I wanted it to be a closer mimicry of the Divine Soul Sorc, so the options at level 1 I felt were needed.

I cannot see the coding, only the text.
