When creating Warlock subclasses, is there a guide how powerful the subclass ability should be in comparison to invocations? I am not suggesting making a subclass that gives the equivalent of invocations but should a subclass benefit be typically weaker than existing invocations, roughly the same power, or more stronger.
Obviously, I realize that this depends on factors such as if the invocation has a level requirement, boon requirement, etc but all I am asking is a general rule of thumb.
