Trying to tinker around and create a subclass for a specific dnd campaign. When i create my character after doing a very basic subclass, none of the spells i put in the specific spells box are showing in the class tab. Additionally the spells pull down menu next to class features is not there. Am i missing something. Am i noob?
We'll need some more detailed info to help you -- a link to the character will help (use the URL, not the link generated by the Share button) and the URL for the homebrew (though only mods will be able to see it, otherwise you can use screen caps, which have to be hosted offsite). But before all that, from your description, it sounds like you're trying to make a magic-wielding subclass for a class that doesn't normally have magic, is that correct (eg: Fighter, Rogue)? If the main class doesn't have spellcasting, you have to do a couple extra steps to get magic working on your subclass, and that might be all you need.
Just in case it might be the issue, but if you make changes to a homebrew that you've already applied to a character, it can take a while before the changes take effect on that character, i.e- new options won't appear, trait descriptions won't update etc. I've tried clearing my browser cache when this happens to see if that resolves it sooner but it doesn't seem to, so if you only just configured spellcasting before you posted then it could be that the feature just hadn't been loaded yet. You also may need to re-save the whole sub-class (from the section with basic information) before updates push through as well.

I have unsubscribed from all topics and will not reply to messages. My homebrew is now 100% unsupported.
If you are making a subclass for a class that usually does not cast spells (Barbarian, Fighter, Monk, Rogue) then you have to do a couple things first. The “extra steps” that pocketmouse mentioned.
Under “basic information” down at the bottom you have to designate “can cast spells” as “yes” and you have to designate their Spellcasting ability. After that you have to add a class feature entitled “Spellcasting” but the description is entirely up to you. If you want a table the easiest way is to copy one from another subclass like the Eldritch Knight. After you add the feature you have to re-save the whole subclass like Haravikk mentioned.

I hope that helped.
