The gist is that you create a point where magical energy can radiate out from, and give some of your power to your allies. I'm not quite sure if it's overpowered or not, so I'd like to see what y'all think!
I really like this spell! There are a few questions and comments I have.
The duration and casting time are off putting. D&D likes to do things in 1 minute, 10 minute, and 1 hour intervals. I recommend either a casting time of one action (similar to beacon of hope) and a duration of 10 minutes or an hour.
Do the creatures use your spell attack modifier and your spell save DC when they cast a cantrip? Do they roll damage based on your level or the creature’s level? Do effects like Potent Spellcasting and Potent Cantrip work with this ability?
When you say “can be cast with a spell slot one level lower”, what happens to first level spells? Maybe it’s easier to say that spells are treated as if they had been cast from one spell level higher.
You switch between “you” and “caster”; stick with you. All spells, magic items, class features use “you”. I would include the HP and AC before describing how it’s destroyed.
If it’s on the cleric list, it’s on the divine soul spell list. Additionally, paladins don’t get 7th level spells. Therefore you can remove these two tags. I really see this as a wizard spell more than I do a druid spell. Creating an artificial orb that radiates magical potential? That’s the most wizard thing I’ve heard!
Again, I love this spell. It’s a really cool spell and it has a lot of potential.

I am iffy about it even with the Terry Pratchett reference name. Looks like the spell caster benefit from this as well. That would give a free up-casting on all spells up to 5th level. That may throw the power curve. Casting this would use a 7th slot. Depending on how many rounds combat lasts you could get enough levels added to equate the 7th level spell slot used.
Being able to cast a cantrip is nice. Could be used by non-spellcasting allies for special circumstances.
To me, this feels like it should require concentration. A 10 minute duration would easily last through at least 1 combat and you would just need to stay within 20 feet of the orb. However, you do not have a way to move the orb so it would not be effective for more than 1 encounter.
Same thing with the Artificer list. They would not get access to 7th level spells.
Typo: "cast uing your" Should be "cast using your". That does not really matter, but wanted to let you know.

Now, it’s been a few years since I last read a Rincewind/an Unseen University book (I prefer the witches and Moist von Lipwig) so correct me if I’m wrong. Are you referring to Sourcery and Sourcerers being sources of magic? If so, I don’t get the connection.

Sourcery was the 5th book in the series. The gods, magic, and maybe the universe were sent into a big floaty spherey thingy. Had incredible power being chocked full of gods and all. Been a while since I read it.

Hello! I'm looking for some feedback on my homebrew spell, Source Of Magic.

I've made a new version that I believe covers all the points you brought up. Thank you for the input!

I didn't even know there was a reference, just a coincidence.
