I am making a Range subclass that has Class option for abilities that the player gets at 3,7,11,15 level. And those abilities go up in power as they level up. Example:
Once per Short Rest, When you make a Ranged weapon attack you can deal and Extra 1d6 Fire Damage and the targeted creature take 1d6 Fire Damage at the begging of its turn, until and action is used to put out the fire.
This damage increases to 2d6 at 7th level, 3d6 at 11th level, and 4d6 at 15th level
And i wanted to show in the "Action" snippet (That shows it in the Player veiw), that the damage goes up in damage. I tried to us the {{scalevalue}} Snippet and put in a scale values but it say no class value detected, and i dont know what to do.
Public Mod Note
(GPyromania):
Moved from Bugs & Support to Homebrew & House Rules
How do i do that, because in the Monk - Way of the Four elements, the Disciples of the Elements, in the snippet it only has {{scalevalue}} without setting a the value, it only set a Level Scale with the Fixed Values and i did that. i still isnt working
The snippet doesn’t change, it is only {{scalevalue}}. When you open the subclass feature under the main section you see:
”Class Feature Options”
”Level Scaling”***
“Modifiers”
“Spells”
”Actions”
”Creatures”
You have to input your own scale by adding the value at each appropriate level under “Level Scaling” or else {{scalevalue}} has no information to pull to populate the snippet.

As part of the Feature that contains that snippet you have to actually input the scale values for the various levels.
