I just finished up a Pandafolk race and it has 5 subclasses, I entered those in as subraces under the subrace tab but when I go to check my work the original race is missing but all the subraces are there. Did I do something wrong in writing?

Nope, that’s just one of those screwey peculiarities with the system. Since it has Subraces, the base races is not a viable choice in itself also it isn’t displayed. The current workaround is to name them all “Race, Subrace” so the system groups them alphabetically. Best we can do.

If I made them variants would it fix the problem?

No.

Only thing around it is if you make them for an official base race.

That’s good, ‘cause there’s way worse annoying stuff than that in the Homebrew here. Such as for instance…: Whatever you do, don’t publish your race. If you do you won’t be able to edit anything on that race, or any of the subraces without recreating all of the subraces over again from scratch.
