I'm trying to create a spelcasting subclass for the barbarian. I made a spellcasting feature. I want the subclass to be able to prepare spells, not learn them. I'm also trying to get the number of spells prepared limited to half level + Constitution, like the paladin. How do I do this?
You unfortunately cannot. All we can do through the Spellcasting feature is to grant them the exact same progression and spells “known” as the existing 1/3 caster subclasses. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
So if I undersstand correctly, I can't just give my barbarian paladin spells through the exact same way the paladin does? Paladins prepare spells equal to half their level plus Charisma modifier, I just wanted to swap out Charisma for Constitution

Paladin style spellcasting is a base class feature. We have no access to base class features, all we have access to is subclass features. The only subclass spellcasting feature is the version that Arcane Trickster and Eldritch Knight have. So that is all we can add to a subclass.
It probably doesn't make sense to add half-casting as a sub-class anyway, as the class you'd be adding it to wouldn't be balanced for it, though Barbarian is a bit of an odd case since Rage normally prevents casting.
There are some ways to work around the limit though, for example you could give the sub-class access to ritual spells or spells that can only be cast a number of times limited by some other means (e.g- each spell is once per long rest without using a spell slot), i.e- separate your class into a core of spells they get "for free", and then the ones they pick normally like a Paladin, and try to even it out to roughly the numbers you want.
The other alternative is to allow spell-casting powered by some other mechanism entirely, though that is a tricky thing to balance. Barbarian sub-classes that can cast spells can usually only cast a handful with specific restrictions, or cast "spell-like" effects rather than specific spells. But there might be another way to do it, for example like the Way of the Four Element monk using ki points to cast spells rather than spell-slots, but it'd be a lot more work to balance it yourself compared to spell-casting that's ready out of the box.

I hope that helped.

I understand now, Thanks so much!
