In real life the only real difference between a composite bow and a long bow is that the long bow can not be used on horseback. The 5e long bow does not have that limitation.

A composite bow would also probably not be heavy IRL either.
The Composite Bow from older editions of D&D was specifically more of a Strength weapon.
I am trying to find a Composite Longbow for the Half-Orc Barbarian in my campaign.
I've found a few magic items, but they don't seem to add the Proficiency bonus to the attack value.
Can anyone help me just build one?
Side note, will we ever get a mundane equipment/item generator on here?
Cheers!
