how do you do a fix value for adding +2d8 to damage
Two things:
That’s not a “Fixed Value,” it’s a Variable Value. A “Fixed Value” ie a solid number, like “3.”
To add +2d8 on top of the regular damage, you add the following modifier:
Modifier: Damage->Subtype: [Damage Type]->Dice Count: 2-> Die Type: d8
Save the modifier, then re-save the entire Weapon.
The dice roller feature isn’t smart enough to roll them together yet, but it will be. In the meantime, it will give a reminder right next to the regular damage so the player can remember to roll that and add it.

Mine does, but I have to hold the ALT key while clicking the damage dice on the character sheet. I have a homebrew glaive that was granted extra damage dice, plus the blood rite dice from the Blood Hunter class. I added them both as additional damage dice modifiers and if I hold the ALT key (the grey die with the B in the center turns red) the digital dice will roll the D10, a D8, and a D4, and send all of it to Roll20 if connected. If I don't hold the ALT key, it will only roll the D10 (base damage die).
EDIT: I guess it only works if you have Beyond20 enabled... So not a perfect workaround since not everyone can use the extension. Still, it does work under the right conditions.

I hope that helps.
