A bit of a information why this in needed. We are rounding up our current campaign [ Rise of Tiamat ] and a planning our next.
The DM is wanting to use a completely homebrew world with some homebrew rules one of these is that we can choose a prestige class option, which allows us the have the first 5 level of any class features as an extra, getting these prestige levels at 5th, 7th , 9th, 11th and 15th. So this is on top of the class you have but is NOT a character level.
eg. 5th level character - multiclass
4 levels of fighter
1 level of cleric
1st level of rogue prestige class, [all 1st level features from the rogue class].
So to achieve this I am creating a homebrew feat to grant these features but I cannot work out how to add sneak attack as a feat.
Add a “general” Action to the feat. There you can designate the Dice Count & Die Type (1 & d6 respectively), set the Activation Type to “special,” and check the “display as attack” box. That should be it.
OK next question requestion help on creating the next feat.
Is it possible to create a feat to do the following
you gain proficiency in the Nature and Survival skills if you don’t already have it. Your proficiency bonus is doubled for any ability check you make that uses either of those proficiencies.
A guess the dice scaling with level will just have to be a manual thing.
on to the next level of rogue prestige class feat "Cunning action" - I think this will be easy as is just basically text on character sheet
Since you would only be receiving the equivalent of 1 level of Rogue, nothing would scale, it would remain a flat 1d6 forever. Sneak Attack doesn’t scale with overall character level, it scales specifically with Rogue level. Since you’re not actually taking the Rogue class…. Now, if you absolutely know for a fact that all of your ”prestige levels” will be going into Rogue, then you can do the scaling.
Go back to your original Action and set the “Level” to 5 and [SAVE]. Then re-edit that Action again and scroll all the way to the bottom and you’ll see a subsection labeled “Level Overrides.” Add an override, set the “Level” to 7, the dice count to 2, and the die type to d6 and [SAVE] it. Then add another level override for 9th level, etc. If you ever choose something other than Rogue for your prestige level then you will have to adjust things on this feat to represent that skip, but as long as you stick to Rogue it should be fine.

I am now doing the same thing for the fighter class? I am trying to add that you gain a fighting style of your choice to a feat.
I tried to create a feat based on Fighting Initiate feat but that only shows the prerequisite need not the options for fighting styles. Guess I will just have to use that as the base....
The Fighting Initiate has the Fighting Styles attached, just hidden on the back end where we cannot access them. Your homebrew based off of that feat should still grant access to one of them though.
Thanks again for pointing me guiding me in the right direction.
I will keep having question sorry.
Is there a way to create a feat to add and extra attack same as the class feature Extra Attack ? At the moment I have added it a a general action to the feat.

No worries.
Yes, there is:
Modifier: Set->Subtype: Extra Attacks->Fixed Value: 1
I don’t understand. Why do you want to see the number of uses to 0? I don’t see the point. What is it you’re actually trying to accomplish? I don’t get it.
Ahh. If it were me I would just make an Action that tracks the Pact Magic slots and leave it spell level agnostic, and then include a snippet that indicates what level those slots are.

Hey I am back again seek more guidance,
Thank you for your patience.
I have added a spell action to a feat, ( and 1st spell slots per say ) they increase in number with limited use entries based on level.
Now wish to set number of uses to 0 effectively removing this action from character. [this is not working]
And then at same level active a second action ( and 2st spell slots per say ) at the same level that the first action is removed. [this is working]
Any help would be wonderful.
here is the setup for first level spell action.
And here is setting for second spell action
I don’t understand. Why do you want to see the number of uses to 0? I don’t see the point. What is it you’re actually trying to accomplish? I don’t get it.

That makes sense.
I would be honoured if you would shared the basics of the snippet code that does as you suggested.
Thanks
I would if I could, but I can’t because I don’t know it. (Snippets are not my strong point.) What I would do is go to this thread and ask for help with the snippet there: (https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/dungeons-dragons-discussion/homebrew-house-rules/25930-using-snippet-codes-in-your-homebrew). That’s where the real experts lurk. Look for a post by Mairondil and “reply” to it since they are, like, the absolute guru when it comes to snippets.

more to the point can/how do you set uses to an action(special)
Thanks @IamSposta I read through your "How To" FAQ and answered it myself
