I made a homebrew spell and published it, but I want to be able to edit that spell. I made it a life domain cleric spell (which is what I am) and now it's always prepared. How can I fix this?
You will have to “create new version” of the spell, edit it to be a cleric spell but not list any specific subclasses (since that’s why it’s always prepared), and then republish it to overwrite the original copy. Then you will have to remove the old copy from your collection so it will no longer show up. If that sounds like kind of a pain, it is a little. In future, it is best practice to not publish until you’ve worked out the kinks and make sure it works correctly.
