I'm trying to add subclass spells to a homebrew monk subclass in the same way as the Way of Shadows monk, but different spells. However, whenever I try it gives me the different spells as an option instead of getting all the spells. How can I fix this?
I am struggling with the exact same issue, I am trying to give the subclass X amount of spells that require Ki at level 3. Much like Way of Shadow does, however if I add all spells, it makes me choose only one of them. Have you found a solution yet?
You both hit “Add Spell” and listed all of the spells at the same time. So you have only added 1 spell, and just given them a list from which to choose. Instead, you need to “Add Spell” for each individual choice, so if it’s 5 spells just like the Shadow Monk, then you need to do it 5 times, once for each spell.
Thank you for the reply. That is indeed how it started out. Afterwards I believe I tried adding spells separately, but it didn't seem to work. However, I think that might've just been a desync between the character sheet and the homebrew.
I retried on a new subclass from scratch and there it eventually worked out. Thank you.
FYI- Whenever you change anything like that you must re-save the entire Homebrew using the main [SAVE CHANGES] button under basic Information to trigger the system to pick up your changes. After that it can take up to 20 minutes for those changes to hit a character sheet that is already using your homebrew.
