Next up, the Weedle line. Weedle and Beedrill I imagine are edible, as you just need to remove the stingers and cook it well. Kakuna probably isn't edible, as the poison has most likely spread throughout the entirety of the mush inside of the shell.

Although both of these serpents are Poison type, the only toxins they have are the venom glands in their head. Just chop off the head, slice down the middle, and clean out all the giblets. Cut the snake into about 1/2 inch thick slices, baste with Pidgey egg whites, and cover it in flour. Put the snake into a deep fryer and fry it for about the same time you would for chicken. Remove the fritters from the fryer, and serve hot with Tabasco on the side and a garnish of dill!

If you're working with a Sandshrew, use the blunt end of a knife or other utensil to break an opening in the tough shell, and peel the rest away with your hands. If you're dealing with a Sandslash, wedge your knife under one of the spines on its back to make an opening, and peel it the rest of the way with your hands.
Preparing the Pokemon is the same either way: Remove the head, appendages, organs, skin, and any fragments of carapace left. Cut into 8 sections (12 if Sandslash) and grill as you would steak. Season with lime and chili powder, pick a side of your choice (Tangela Slaw goes well), and dig in!

On this episode of Kantonian Cuisine: Clefairy and Clefable!
Word of Caution: While Clefairy and Clefable are edible, these magical Pokemon can cause excessive mental anguish if their meat is not cooked well enough. If your Clef Wellington is still pink on the inside, do not eat it. If you experience a sudden extreme feeling of fear, sadness or disgust when eating Clefairy or Clefable, call your doctor immediately.
Although both of these Pokemon look squishy and soft, their meat is actually very dense and has a bold flavor reminiscent of salmon. As always, make sure to remove the skin, organs, and appendages. A Clefable's wings are a delicacy in many regions of Kanto, so hang on to those for later! Cut the meat into about 6 equally sized pieces (10 if Clefable), baste with egg whites (any will do), and powder with flour before putting them in the oven to cook on medium heat for about 10 minutes. Once the Clef Wellington is cooked, leave it to cool for about 2 minutes, and serve with a side of your choice. Enjoy!

Vulpix and Ninetails must be skinned, have their organs removed, and then cooked for about 5 hours. this period of time is extended because of Their resistance to heat. Once it is cooked, put it in the freezer to cool it down much faster than it would have outside. after 30 minutes, the Meat will still be warm, and you add seasoning of choice along with a side of your choice. (pidgey eggs are popular) it tastes much like turkey.

You might be wondering why we didn't include Jigglypuff. Surprisingly enough, Jigglypuff has en enormous amount of cartilage throughout its body, so we deemed it unfit for consumption.
Unlike its pre-evolved form, Wigglytuff has a more stable and localized skeletal system, as it doesn't need to inflate like Jigglypuff can. Clean out its insides, divide the meat into around 8 equal pieces, and bake the cuts of meat in the oven for about 20 minutes, or until the normally pinkish meat turns a gold-brown color. Unlike Clefairy, this Fairy type doesn't have any magic to worry about, so you can enjoy it rare! Serve the steak hot with a side of your choice (I enjoy a fried Spearow egg on mine), and enjoy! Wigglytuff Steak is a popular item on menus throughout Kanto, well known for its rich umami flavor and pork-like consistency.

For a Zubat, cut the wings, get rid of the skin, and dry them. Once devoid of Moisture, you have Zubat Jerkey, which is a Favorite for hikers in Kanto. Take the body, Skin it, and deep fry it. Have it with with any sauce of your choice. Zubat Nuggets are Staple foods for any tourist to try while visiting.
